Growing Conditions

Vintage 2011 gave us the smallest yields in the history of our vineyards. Tiny berries plus a small crop provided a high skin to juice ratio that produced generous wines. A long cool growing season delayed harvest by as much as two weeks. This long growing season provided extra "hang time" giving the fruit more time to develop flavor and concentration and substantial mature tannins.

Food Pairing

Pairs well alongside grilled meats, including rack of lamb, duck breast and steak. Try with dishes that contain fresh herbs, braised greens, roasted mushrooms or figs.
