Nose

The 2015 Terracea shows intense aromas of rose water, chamomile and mustard flowers, orange marmalade, honey blossom and vanilla bean.

Palate

Full, silky body, with a round palate. Off-dry with a hint of orange zest and honey. Crisp, long finish

Winemaking

We pressed grapes for this wine at 100 percent whole cluster to impart vibrant fruit intensity. The juice settled for two days before we racked it into a combination of concrete egg and new French oak puncheons for fermentation. We stopped fermentation when the wine reached its ideal balance between sugar and acidity, and we aged the wine sur lie for rich complexity.
