The 2017 Galerie Equitem shows explosive tropical aromas of green mango and juicy pineapple, kiwi, mandarin zest and a mineral finish combined with sweet herbal notes such as lemon thyme.
The palate is juicy, with a fresh acidic finish full of flavors and texture.
The grapes for this wine were pressed at 100% whole cluster for vibrant fruit intensity. The juice settled for two days before it was racked into a combination of concrete eggs, stainless steel and French oak puncheons, and barrels for fermentation. Sur lie aging for five – six months with batônnage (lees stirring) then once a week.
