Nose
Our 2014 Terracea Riesling exhibits intense aromas of rose petals, white flowers, nectarine, honeycomb, ginger and sweet, juicy pineapple.
Palate
There’s a beautiful, harmonious balance between the wine’s residual sugar and high natural acidity, for full body and a crisp, lingering finish.
Winemaking
We pressed grapes for this wine at 100 percent whole cluster to impart vibrant fruit intensity. The juice settled for two days before we racked it into a combination of concrete egg, new French oak puncheons and stainless steel for fermentation. We stopped fermentation when the wine reached its ideal balance between sugar and acidity, and we aged the wine sur lie for rich complexity.
