Nose

Introduces tropical fruit aromas with pineapple guava, passion fruit, lemon-lime, papaya, mango and ripe grapefruit.

Palate

The flavor is punctuated with ripe white peach, mango and guava – very pleasant and full with great viscosity and balance. This is a refreshing wine that yields both complexity and a pleasurable lingering experience.

Growing Conditions

The winter continued a dry weather pattern and bud break was early. The growing season was moderate, near ideal, and on an early pace. Most varieties were harvested in September with a final wrap up on October 10th, finishing up before any rains developed.

Winemaking

58% cold fermented at 50° F. 42%. Fermented in used French oak barrels or puncheons at 65° F

Aging

Barrels: 42% of volume in used French oak barrels and puncheons for 4 months

Appearance

Brilliant greenish straw color.
