Nose
Vibrant aromas of cassis, black raspberry, cherry pit and bitter chocolate are complicated by hints of leather and pipe tobacco.
Palate
Very suave and fine-grained but youthfully withdrawn, with the dark berry, bitter cherry, licorice, chewing tobacco and leather flavors carrying through the palate. An intriguing suggestion of floral oils adds another dimension. Boasts wonderful finesse to its strong but talc-like tannins.
Aging
Aged 32 months in 100% new French oak.
Appearance
Bright, youthful medium ruby.
