Nose

Enveloping scents of French plums and German chocolate cake. A hint of pomace, vanilla and floral potpourri adds freshness to the nose, while the wood on this wine cradles but never defines the fruit.

Palate

Dark berry flavors mingle with tannins, each expanding again and again to match the other. An initial softness builds, evolving on the finish to the texture of blackberry preserves or the filling of a fig bar, creamy and luxurious.

Growing Conditions

Suisun Valley shares a remarkably similar maritime climate with Napa Valley. Its warm days and cool nights suit a variety of grapes, while its richer soils are especially conducive to growing top-quality Petite Sirah.

Aging

Best 5-7 years from vintage date. However, the wine is produced to be enjoyed upon release and can be cellared a decade or more.

Appearance

A regal maroon rimmed with purple.
