Nose

You can find the distinct fragrance of licorice and violets

Palate

The most extraordinary feature is its texture—unbelievably lush and velvety. There’s an insane concentrated core of fruit—black fruit, of course, with a complement of exotic wild berries—blackberries, black currants, bramble berries, berries that one smears on one’s face, rehearsing a scene from Lord of the Flies. But superimposed on the berry note is an almost tropical fruit character. Southwest France becomes the South Pacific with subtle suggestions of mango, guava.
