Winemaking

The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon is the sixth release in our line-up of distinguished Cabernets. The grapes for the 2008 vintage came primarily from the Oak Knoll and Oakville districts. This Cabernet Sauvignon was blended to have complex flavors, elegant structure and balance. To achieve this in the 2008 vintage, we blended Cabernet Sauvignon lots from several different Napa Valley sub appellations. We blended small amounts of Merlot, Malbec, and Cabernet Franc to enhance the blend’s complexity.
