Winemaking

As some of you may remember, we did something a little different with our 2019 Aligoté. At seven years of age, we felt our Aligoté vines were mature enough for their fruit to be introduced to a light touch of oak. We released half of the 2019 Aligoté last year and reserved the other half to be aged in French oak. We’re delighted to present the delectable results. Crisp and refreshing, yet rich and expressive this wine has notes of brioche, caramel and lemon curd. For further interest, our 2019 oak-aged Aligoté is subtly spicy, with touches of cardamom and nutmeg on the finish. We think you’ll love this wine as much as we do.
