The wine shows lovely texture, with supportive, mouth-filling tannins that mingle well with flavors of mission fig, blackberries, smoky dark chocolate, and espresso. The wine is dense and supple, with a lingering, sweetly smoky finish.
All fruit is organically grown.
The grapes were harvested September 28, 2013.
22 months in 60% new French oak barrels from Treuil cooperage (i.e. Aillier and Troncais).
Rich ruby red in the glass, with lightly purple undertones.
