Palate

It opens with bright blueberry and cassis fruit, continues with a well integrated smokey middle, and finishes with big, burly tannins that are sure to satisfy the heartiest petite sirah enthusiast.

Growing Conditions

The growing season of 2010 was dominated by two significant heat spikes. The first in August and a second in September. By carefully eliminating the damaged and inferior fruit prior to harvest, we were able to continue our consistent string of 100% varietal petite sirahs, but at a much smaller case production.

Aging

Aged for 20 months in American and French oak barrels

Appearance

Our 2010 Petite Sirah is every bit as dark and opulent as previous offerings.
