Nose
It has a nose of stewed red fruits, hazelnut, coffee, chocolate and a hint of jalapeño.
Palate
This wine is light to medium bodied with good fruit. Although starting to show its age, it is still quite pleasurable. Enjoy now. May need decanting due to light sediment.
Appearance
The 1972 Silver Oak North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon is our first wine and it is showing remarkably well. This wine displays brick-red color with some browning.
