Growing Conditions

Our Riesling vines are planted on the foothills of Arrowhead Slope and harvested early in the season when sugar levels in the fruit are low and acidity is bright. Fermented in concrete and stainless steel (without any oak contact), the resulting white wine is dry, deep and vibrant.

SOIL TYPE: Huichica loam, volcanic tuff

Harvest

Sonoma's third consecutive warm winter prompted an early start to the growing season. March frosts slightly thinned that would become a warm, healthy vintage. As harvest started early in August, the weather cooled and fruit quality soared, prompting a balanced and beautiful vintage.
