Schermeister Winery

Schermeister Winery produces small lot Burgundy and Rhône varietals using 100% native fermentation techniques. While our first love is Pinot Noir, winemaker Robert Schermeister produces Viognier, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon to round out our portfolio of wines that focus on intense flavors and aromas. Standout vineyards include Sangiacamo-farmed Roberts Road vineyard and the Terra de Promissio vineyard, both in the Petaluma Gap AVA. Robert's wife Laura is the creative vision behind Schermeister Winery, illustrating and design both the labels and tasting room, capturing moments with her camera, and writing the newsletters and blog. Together, the couple love to share their stories and those of their guests in their intimate Glen Ellen tasting room in Sonoma Valley where their wines can be acquired. Their rescue wine dog Eli is there, too!
