J. Kirkwood is named after the patriarch of the Reid family. A blend of merlot, cab, cab franc, petite verdot is made from estate grown Bordeaux varietals. This blend is an expression of the terroir at the base of Mt. Veeder in the Napa Valley. With a nose of roses, berries, and a hint of vanilla, this wine would pair gracefully with any hearty meal. A complex mouthfeel, followed by a smooth lingering finish, the J. Kirkwood will age beautifully in your cellar for several years.
A voluptuous, spicy wine with a nose of violets, plums, and cloves. Named after the winemaker’s daughter-in-law, this wine will beguile you with its lingering palate of peppery fruit. The silky tannins produce a wonderfully smooth finish.
This Cabernet Sauvignon fills the glass with a deep ruby color and flavors of black currant and black cherry. French and American oak barrel aging adds hints of vanilla and clove. This wine will continue to develop complexity over the years.
