Palate
Initially the smooth, silky mouth feel beguiles you before the tart black currant, liquorish, tea and burnt toast give you pause for thought. The tannins exert a pleasant palate grip but are not out of balance allowing the finish of ripe cherry and currant to linger. Enjoy the vivacity now or allow cellar through 2025.

Patriarch, our Bordeaux style blend of estate cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc, brings together our passion for farming and our dedication for making the best wine we can, while layering in the concentration of the vintage, making the 2010 Patriarch a finely balanced wine with depth, polish, character and longevity.
