Nose

Brooding aromas of blackberry and cassis.

Palate

A juicy palate reveals
complex layers of black fruits and baking spice with mineral traces of pencil lead and slate.
Youthful acidity backed with chewy, brambly tannins creates a well-balanced 30 second finish.

Growing Conditions

The 2012 growing season has been described by many as “textbook perfect”.
Temperate summer days moderated plant growth, contributing to smaller cluster and berry
size during lag phase, leading to increased concentration of flavors. An idyllic Indian summer
finished the maturation process, producing fruit with exceptional character and intensity.

This stately cabernet sauvignon derives great depth from the diverse terroirs of its pedigreed
vineyards.
