Palate

Our 2014 Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is highlighted by notes of dried blackberries, Cuban cigar, and vibrant ripe fruit.

Growing Conditions

Howell Mountain’s colder microclimate typically escapes the fog of Napa Valley. In an effort to survive these conditions, Howell Mountain cabernet sauvignon grapes are smaller in size and group together in small clusters. The result is fruit with a higher skin-to-juice ratio and a highly concentrated, deeper colored wine with higher tannin.
