The nose is deep, complex and rich with ripe pear, butterscotch and hints of toasted marshmallow.
The mouthfeel is full and balanced, showcasing spice that marries with pear to last endlessly on the palate.
Only grapes grown in our wide-spaced planted, low-yielding 33 acre vineyard on the estate are used to make O’Brien Estate wines. The grapes are hand-harvested, crushed and fermented in small batches in the winery adjacent to the vineyard and our home, then aged exclusively in French oak barrels (33% new for Chardonnay, 75% new for red wines, 100% new for Reserve reds). We take a minimalist approach to winemaking to allow the flavors created in the vineyard to be expressed in the wine as a unique signature of our unique terroir.
Our wines are only available to members. Sign up to be added to our waiting list.
