The nose is greeted with aromas of bursting blueberry and strawberry with milk chocolate undertones.
Black raspberry and vanilla follows on the palate accompanied with plush tannins and a cinnamon spice finish.
The wine was bottled in May, 2016.
In 2014, the hallmark of the vintage are the elegant, well integrated tannins which indicates great cellaring potential of this wine. We fermented these grapes by varietal for three weeks at warm temperatures and followed with extended maceration, extracting maximum ripe flavors and supple tannins.
The wine was aged in 40% new and 60% two year old French Oak barrels for twenty months.
