Nose

Enticing aromas of blueberry, dark chocolate and juicy plum.

Palate

The dense and powerful dark fruit flavors meld into a seamless frame of fine, elegant tannins. The finish is long, layered and expressive, with bold notes of toasted oak, barbecue spice and grilled meat.

Growing Conditions

A cross between Syrah and Peloursin grape varieties, Petite Sirah wine is an inky, perfumed and spicy red that has long captured the imagination of vintners in the Napa Valley. This beautiful, small-production 2014 Louis M. Martini Napa Valley handcraft Petite Sirah comes from our historic 10-acre Thomann Station Vineyard nestled just behind our winery in St. Helena. It offers the vast warmth of the valley floor and the deep gravelly loam soils that are ideal for growing Petite Sirah.

Appearance

The wine’s dark purple color is classic.
