A blend of the five essential “Bordeaux” varietals from the Kenefick estate, this is the culmination of how the diverse profiles between varietal, soils, and microclimate can come together to create a stunning wine. Aromatically, the 2012 Founder’s Reserve jumps out of the glass with notes of cherry, fresh currants, plum, and fresh vanilla. This is underlined by plush, ripe berries on the entry, a balanced crème brûlée middle, finished by fine tannins and dark cherry that is very extended.
