Palate
I chose my favorite blocks from cool, coastal Monterey County to create this Chardonnay with bright tropical, citrus and floral notes. These flavors delicately intertwine with aromas of vanilla and spice from small oak barrel fermentation, creating a round, rich mouthfeel with a long, lingering finish.
Winemaking
Crafted in small vineyard lots throughout the entire winemaking process. Whole cluster pressed to retain the fresh fruit qualities. Sur lie aging with monthly battonage (lees stirring) for our signature velvety texture and creamy flavor. Monterey County’s consistent sun, fog and wind allow for a long growing season, giving this wine balanced, concentrated flavors.
