Monterey County contributes lemony citrus and mineral notes. Santa Barbara County delivers a dash of fresh pineapple flavors. Mendocino County adds juicy green apple flavors.

Winemaking

Vivid, crisp and bright, Kendall-Jackson AVANTdelivers a fresh and dynamic take on Chardonnay. Cold fermented in a combination of stainless steel tanks and neutral oak barrels helps to preserve the vibrance of the fruit’s character. Stainless steel tanks retain fresh, fruit flavors of green apple and lemon drop, while the subtle use of neutral oak adds a graceful structure. Whole cluster pressed to preserve fresh fruit character; 57% fermented in stainless steel tanks, 43% in neutral oak barrels. Partial malolactic fermentation gives a rounder mid-palate.
