Monterey County contributes lemony citrus and mineral notes. Mendocino County adds juicy green apple flavors. Sonoma County delivers a touch of ripe apple and pear. Santa Barbara County delivers a dash of fresh pineapple flavors.

Winemaking

Vivid, crisp and bright, Kendall-Jackson AVANTdelivers a fresh and dynamic take on Chardonnay. Aged and cold-fermented in a combination of neutral oak barrels and stainless steel tanks helps to preserve the fruit’s character. The subtle use of neutral oak adds a graceful structure, while stainless steel preserves fresh, fruit flavors of green apple and lemon drop. Whole cluster pressed to preserve fresh fruit character; 60% fermented in stainless steel tanks, 40% fermented in neutral oak barrels. Partial malolactic fermentation gives a rounder mid-palate.
