This Grand Reserve offering is cold fermented, enhancing the natural, distinctive Sauvignon Blanc characteristics. The result is an expressive, crisp wine with notes of gooseberry, fig, grapefruit and starfruit. The nose welcomes you with a kiss of key lime and a wisp of juniper.
Growing Conditions
The Grand Reserve Sauvignon Blanc tends to be from the same vineyard blocks year-to-year, ensuring greater consistency and enhanced complexity with each vintage. Since 2011, all of our vineyards have been third-party certified as sustainable by CCSW (Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing ) and SIP (Sustainability in Practice). 100% Jackson Estates Grown Sauvignon Blanc. Harvest
Our Mendocino County vineyard had a very pleasant growing season in 2013; it was long and certainly warm enough to ripen the fruit fully. The winemaking team loves vintages with rich fruit character and balanced acidity
