Growing Conditions
100% Jackson Estate grown in our Monterey vineyards. Since 2011, all of our vineyards have been third-party certified as sustainable by CCSW (Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing ) and SIP (Sustainability in Practice). Monterey County’s hillside fruit delivers citrus and floral notes. The late November harvest emphasized delightful fruit flavors of mandarin orange and tangerine with aromas of orange blossom and honeysuckle.
Harvest
The 2012 vintage in Monterey County was very close to perfect, a pleasant change from the past few seasons. High-quality grapes were the norm in almost every block we harvested. The winemaking team loves vintages with rich fruit character and balanced acidity.
