Nose
Red cherry and raspberry lead with pomegranate, rose and orange peel
Palate
Silky and medium-bodied, it shows black tea, clove and cedar over a savory mineral spine, bright acidity, and fine, subtly polished tannins that extend a pure, lingering finish.
Growing Conditions
The Reinke Vineyard lies in Napa Valley’s Carneros district, one of the finest winegrowing regions in the world for cultivating thin skinned Pinot Noir grapes. The cooling breezes off the San Pablo Bay allow the grapes a longer hang time in which to develop flavor and intensity, without sacrificing acidity and true balance.
Winemaking
Our family has been making wine in Napa Valley since the 1970's. With less than 3,000 cases produced annually, two generations of Finkelsteins continue the tradition of handcrafting ultra-premium wines that are fruit-driven, food friendly, and just simply delicious.
Our vision is to have a positive impact on our local Napa Valley community and beyond.
Food Pairing
This Pinot Noir is right at home with duck confit or a wild mushroom tart, and it’s just as delicious alongside herb-roasted chicken or a hearty lentil and root vegetable casserole. Try it with your favorite autumn-inspired dishes for a cozy and satisfying meal.
