Palate
The palate is filled with varietally correct elements of saddle leather, black olives, sweet tobacco and cedar. The Sisters doesn't suffer at all from some of the aggressive tannin that was the undoing for some wines in 2006. Its fruit sweetness kicks in early and the light tannins on the finish contribute a chewiness that both broadens and deepens the experience of the wine
