Palate

Herbs de Provence, sweet black and red fruits with liquid minerality. It's never the darkest or biggest wine from Rockpile, but always layered and complex.

Growing Conditions

The very rocky mixture of granite clay and loam quartz-very volcanic in appearance. Granite gives structure, clay makes up the body, and quartz loam provides the finesse.

Winemaking

16 months 30% New French oak, 228L to 600L barrels.

Aging

30% New French oak, 228L to 600L barrels.

Appearance

Dark in red hues, on the edge and purple deep center.
