Nose

Pure aromas of red cherries, berries, leather and Asian spice notes are supported by bright flavors of cherry cola, pomegranate and an earthy mid palate.

Palate

Velvety, fine-grained tannins complement a long finish with subtle lavender and wild strawberry nuances.

Growing Conditions

2015 was a low-yielding season in the cool climate of Marin County, which allowed beautiful ripening and flavor development. This wine is sourced from a small, dry-farmed vineyard on rolling hills in an area of Marin that has been home to cattle and dairies for the last century. Today there are small vineyard sites scattered across Marin that are producing very interesting and distinct fruit.
