Palate

lushly textured and lightly sweet with fruit flavors of poached pear, honeydew melon and citrus, mingling with notes of honeycomb, caramel, candied ginger and lemon peel. There’s a slight minerality to the wine, and the bright acidity keeps the palate balanced and lively.

Aging

12 months in French oak followed by 12 months in stainless steel

Food Pairing

This is a lovely, perfumed, after-dinner wine that can be enjoyed with fruit desserts such as tarte tatin, pineapple upside down cake or even drizzled over good quality vanilla ice cream. It also makes a nice pairing with creamy custards or cheeses such as Brie, goat cheese or sharp Irish cheddar.
