Palate

Refreshing and approachable, our Pinot Gris has exquisite flavors of orange and tangerine. This wine has bright acidity and was aged without oak to highlight the fresh fruit.

Growing Conditions

This Pinot Gris is made from grapes grown on our Estate vineyards located in the Sonoma Coast appellation.
This is a cool growing location that often has fog cover until late morning. It yields grapes with great intensity
and bright acidity.

Winemaking

The grapes used for Cline Pinot Gris were de-stemmed and transferred directly to
our tank press where the skins and solids were separated from the juice. The juice was then pumped to a temperature controlled, chilled, stainless-steel tank where it settled for twenty-four hours. The extremely low solids juice was then racked to a fermenting tank, pure wine yeast was added and the juice fermented at low temperatures to preserve the natural flavors and freshness of the grapes.

Food Pairing

This is an excellent choice to pair with grilled fish, quiche and butter lettuce salad, herb-crusted halibut and lobster with tarragon butter.
