A brief history
At Cline, we specialize in Rhone-style wines and Zinfandels. Enjoy complimentary wine tastings in our tasting room – an 1850s farmhouse. We also offer picnic grounds, flower gardens, spring-fed ponds, and an on-site California Missions Museum. Cline Cellars is family-owned and operated in the Carneros district of Sonoma Valley. Established in 1982, Cline is known for producing some of California’s most distinctive, award-winning, Rhone varietals and Zins. The winery is energy-independent, using high-capacity solar panels to generate power, and uses Green String Institute’s eco-friendly farming practices in its vineyards. Fred and Nancy Cline own and manage vineyards in the Sonoma-Carneros region, Contra Costa County and the Petaluma Gap.Looking for a venue for your special event? We welcome weddings, parties, corporate events and private dinners on the Great Lawn, the barrel room, or the historic adobe mission building.
