Nose
The 2016 vintage opens with bright apple, citrus blossom and honeysuckle aromatics followed by notes of lightly toasted hazelnuts.
Palate
Rounded and silky on the palate, flavors of pear, white peach and citrus are underscored by juicy fruit and mouthwatering acidity. Subtle toasted oak notes add spice and richness to the long, focused finish.
Growing Conditions
Ceja Vineyards Chardonnay comes from our gorgeous Viña del Sol Ranch located in the Carneros region of Napa Valley. The Carneros American Viticultural Area (AVA) is the only appellation located at the crossroads of two major wine regions, the Napa and Sonoma Valleys. Influenced by the maritime breezes and fog from its southern border with the San Pablo Bay, Carneros produces the region’s finest Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and sparkling wines.
