Palate

Massive, concentrated and powerful, Dulce Amor offers lush, heady flavors of dark plum, blackberry, fig, raisin and cherry tart, with touches of anise. The palate features a long, rich finish of dark chocolate, toffee and cream. The wine is characterized by its rich fruity character with a lush, velvety mouthfeel.

Winemaking

Both varietals are co-fermented to 14 Brix and then given a shot of pot-still brandy.

Aging

This fortified wine is aged for 15 years in French oak barrels.

Food Pairing

It can be enjoyed for dessert as well as with cheese, or served as an aperitif. An open bottle will keep in the fridge for months.
