Palate

Révélationis our signature wine, a true Pauillac-inspired Cabernet Sauvignon. The hallmarks of the 2010 are balance and depth. First, the nose releases traditional varietal notes of black fruits and dark chocolate, cassis, and espresso, with the fine tannins produced on the mountain, reflecting the vine-ripened flavors that developed until we harvested in early November. This intense yet elegant wine will age effortlessly for 20 years or more. The Cabernet Sauvignon is blended with small amounts of Merlot and Cabernet Franc to further its dimension and depth

Growing Conditions

Captûre’s estate fruit is grown at Tin Cross Vineyards. Every vine is organically farmed and maintained to meet rigorous field specifications, a practice which yields healthier, more sustainable vines that positively contribute to the longevity of the land and the quality of the fruit produced.

Winemaking

With multi-generational experience from Château Latour, our winemaking team understands the methods behind crafting classic Bordeaux-style wines with intense fruit from hillside vineyards harvested at peak ripeness. All of our grapes are gently hand sorted and go through extended maceration to extract optimal color and flavor. Winemakers May-Britt and Denis Malbec chose a sophisticated barrel regime, comprised of only the best French oak for this Cabernet Sauvignon.
