Rich aromas of ripe berries, black plum and baking spice.

Palate

Upon the palate, flavors of black cherry, blackberry and blueberry are balanced with bright acidity and medium body. This is a wine to enjoy with pasta in a hearty tomato sauce or grilled, spiced lamb chops.

Growing Conditions

Sourced from vineyards in the warmer region of Sonoma Valley as well as in the Russian River where the days are warm and the nights are cool, the perfect growing conditions for Zinfandel.

Winemaking

Small amounts of Petite Sirah and Alicante Bouchet planted with the Zinfandel, adding a great depth of flavor and soft spice to the finished wine.

Aging

15 months in 20% new French and Hungarian Oak.
