Nose

Swirl to reveal a buoyant bouquet of orange blossom, tuberose, and caramel-shrouded vanilla bean. Following closely are grounding notes of cedar, flint, and tobacco that banter with effervescent cola and subtle clove. Missing is Westside’s hallmark note of wild strawberries in the field, now replaced by black cherry compote with winter spice and crumble.

Palate

Smooth and silky mouthfeel evokes antique velvet.

Aging

12 months in 30% new oak, 50/50 French American

Appearance

Lithe and ethereal with a ruby core and soft rose rim, this wine sparkles in the glass with crystalline clarity.
