Nose
Nose bursts with ripe blue and black fruits followed by dried red fruits and flowers and a hint of fine Italian leather. Deeper in, fresh Alpine notes dance with subtle smoked herbs and faint burning wood.
Palate
Mouthfeel is silky, long, and deep, filling the palate with succulent warm blueberry compote and chalky meringue. Medium body with ultra-fine tannins.
Growing Conditions
Our second vintage of Tempranillo exhibits magnificent extraction and intense expression of fruit thanks in part {and ironically} to the past two years of drought.
Aging
18 months in 25% new oak, 50/50 French/American
Appearance
Gorgeous magenta core and ruby rim are glossy and showy yet serene, like the still calm of a lake at dawn.
