Nose

Aromas of Crenshaw melon with hints of caramel and spearmint, followed by some lime peel.

Palate

This is a beautifully rendered wine that deserves attention although there’s nothing showy about it. Its showing restrained citrus aromas, perhaps with some lime zest, finishing long and with a perfect wash of crisp acidity, which prepares one for what’s to come

Winemaking

Bouchaine’s Pinot Blanc is harvested at night time when the air is cool. The fruit is whole cluster pressed and fermented in natural oak barrels. The barrels are stirred monthly to develop the mid-palate.

Food Pairing

meaning, it’ll blend wonderfully with a salad of butter lettuce, orange slices, walnuts, and goat cheese; or a simply grilled piece of fresh fish with a squeeze of lime juice and/or a couple tablespoons of butter
