Nose

Palate
The palate is packed with a farmer’s market’s worth of juicy fruit: apple, lemon, pineapple, and citrus fruits, along with spicy, floral notes driven by the unique soils of this vineyard. An underlying structure of tannin and acidity round out the mouth-feel, resulting in a wine that makes an indelible impression on the palate.
Dried apricots, tangerine, flowers and mint are some of the nuances that are woven throughout this large-scaled, highly expressive Chardonnay. A striking, textured finish rounds things out in style.
Growing Conditions
With fully mature Old Wente vines planted in an ancient riverbed, this vineyard is able to deliver classic chardonnay every vintage, with each passing year of vine age simply adding to the depth and complexity of the resulting wine.
