Bright and refreshing on the palate, this Sauvignon Blanc wine balances crisp acidity with rounded texture and vibrant citrus-driven fruit. Notes of melon, tropical fruit, and lemon curd carry through a vibrant and creamy finish with a touch of oak.
The 2023 Napa Valley vintage is widely regarded as one of the strongest and most balanced in recent years, especially for white varieties like this Sauvignon Blanc. A long, cool growing season followed a wet winter and spring, replenishing soils and delaying budbreak and harvest timing. Mild summer temperatures and extended hang time allowed these grapes to ripen slowly and evenly, preserving acidity while developing strong flavor concentration and aromatic intensity.
Harvest occurred August 2023.
Bottling occurred April 2024.
Crafted by winemaker Erik Ayala in a modern Napa Valley style, the wine emphasizes freshness, aromatic purity, and bright natural acidity. Cool fermentation in stainless steel helps preserve vibrant citrus and tropical fruit character, while limited lees aging adds subtle texture and balance without overwhelming the wine’s crisp profile.
