Nose
The initial impression is an explosive nose of dark fruit, tobacco and spice.
Palate
After spending over three years in barrel, the wine has shed most of its youthful tannins and has become a wave of super-concentrated liquid velvet. It envelops your tongue and caresses the roof of your mouth. The finish builds from the first sip, and eventually lingers for nearly a minute where the flavors develop hints of roasted meats and espresso bean.
Aging
39 months in 100% new French oak.
