Aromas of ripe apple and stone fruit, along with hints of lemon zest and brown spice, fill the nose of this delightful Chardonnay.
On the palate, the wine is refreshing, with silky textures and vibrant flavors of citrus and pear that linger on the finish.
Our Chardonnay grapes grow in the renowned Carneros AVA. The vineyards are cooled by marine air from a gap in the Pacific coastal range and from the northernmost reaches of San Francisco Bay. Soils at this wind-swept site on the valley floor consist of alluvial clay streaked with gravel. The vines are favored with excellent exposures and moderate temperatures, ideal for producing Burgundian varieties.
