Its full body relaxes to release blackberry, currant, pepper, anise,
and clove.
Growing Conditions
2008 started with intense rains that faded to a cold dry spring.
Circulating air until summer brought wonderful concentrated
tastes in berries beneath a limited canopy. A heat spell in early
September gave way to cooler temperatures. Our delayed harvest
allowed the skins of our fruit to thicken and intensify to make this
a strong vintage for us.
