Nose
The result is a wine that is intensely concentrated with expressive aromas of ripe cassis, blackberry and blueberry.
Palate
This fine wine finishes with smooth, well integrated oak flavors and medium to full tannins.
Growing Conditions
The growing season of 2008 produced smaller-than-normal berries and fewer clusters per vine. As such, our yields were almost half of normal.
Aging
Aged for 20 months in barrels of 100% French oak
