Nose
The 2009 Sciandri Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon has the traditional aromas of the earthy "Coombsville Dirt".
Palate
Dark blackberry and cherry flavors are present on the initial sip, with subtle hints of mocha and currant lingering in the background. Well balanced and slightly tight tannins are ever present and will allow the wine to age well, while rounding out the mouth feel. The fruit flavors and hints of toasted oak carry through on a long finish.
