Nose
The nose shows layered
aromas of blackberry preserves, cassis, and barrel spices
Palate
On the palate a rich texture and tremendous depth of ripe
dark fruit flavors are unveiled. Tannins are apparent yet
integrated and build to frame a finish that is long and ripe.
While this is a powerful Cabernet it maintains traditional
Salvestrin elegance and polish.
Growing Conditions
Despite low rainfall,excellent growing conditions occurred in 2013 yielding one of the finest Salvestin Estate
Cabernets in recent years.
